New Moon Gemini 22 Gemini 44

A new moon puts both the Sun & Moon in Gemini at 22 degrees, 44 minutes. According to mythology, Mercury, ruler of Gemini shuttled back and forth from the sky to the underworld unfettered, delivering messages…. I think this is quite appropriate at this new moon…keep our minds open to higher levels of thinking. Connect with source, god, higher power, as a way of being and grounding that energy inside us. This is generally a new start for all Geminis.

Mercury, governing both Gemini & Virgo, will be providing a sextile to Uranus at this new moon. Opportunities will present themselves to share unusual ideas, perhaps even scientific breakthroughs. Could we receive messages from outer space? Unusual ideas may be floating about our very creative brains.

Mars squares Uranus then when it goes retrograde on 26th June it will traverse back over this point and cause a second square to Uranus mid-September 2018 emphasizing this aspect. Which is: controlled chaos or harnessing electrical energy…hmm, isn’t that called: electricity?!! Rebel Yell may be our cry! Creative change is the best use of this energy; what needs reforming or transforming? Don’t be shy now…make the change just don’t completely disregard all your obligations and try not to act too rashly or with anger. ‘Cause you are going to want to. Just saying. So, counting to 10 is something we can all do. You could also have things happen to you by holding all your unexpressed anger and frustration inside. Good time to vent with those you trust. Do take care of your body & brain; you’ll be amped up at this time, electrical energy running through those neural circuits; just make sure they don’t overheat. Ground yourself near any nature:  parks, forests, lakes, oceans, streams…your own garden, all these will work.

Venus enters Leo on 14th June then conjuncts the North Nodes of the Moon of destiny in Leo on 19th June. For Leo Sun and Ascendant this could mark the beginning of something lovely, whether associated with love, money or your values. Venus inconjuncts Mars retrograde on 21st June. Harrumph! So, some minor adjustments may be needed regarding whatever was illuminated around the 14th June. Happy Summer; it officially starts 21st June!! Venus trines Jupiter on 25th June followed by Venus trine Neptune on 27th June. Some very lovely feelings surround you on these days; relax and enjoy how great everything feels. Life is good

Really going Retro- back to the 1970’s!!!!!!!!!!

I looked back on past configurations of planets to see when the last Mars retrograde in Aquarius happened; it was 1971. As I continued to look I saw that Jupiter retrograde in Scorpio and Venus retrograde in Scorpio preceded the Mars retrograde. Amazing!!! So, for those folks that were ‘old’ enough in 1971…think back to what was activated and what areas of your life changed, you may find this happens again over the summer 2018.

Generally speaking, birds are thought to represent spiritual forces, the number three suggests the trinity. Translated to modern language this could be viewed as connecting with: source, the divine, presence, higher power etc.

The New Moon is in a very talkative sign, Gemini. So, I think this means that this New Moon in Gemini is about thinking and opening up to higher levels of consciousness and allowing those to develop in our minds. From there? We actively speak about this.
