Happy New Year!

This New Moon in Capricorn occurs around the end of the year and 2017 is ahead. Sober thoughts for a new way forward in our power structures, including how we (individually) do power! Capricorn wants to climb that mountain. You may be presented with new ideas, or new people in your life that help you achieve this. I think of this as a New Order in our power structures. This is a great time to establish some New Year’s Resolutions, if you do this. For Capricorn Sun Signs and Ascendant (to some extent Moon signs)…this is a new start for you. With Pluto also in Capricorn, you may have uncovered something that now allows you to move forward in some new way that emphasizes the new you. You may even be making an announcement about this.

Our last Full Moon in Gemini emphasized communication and this New Moon in Capricorn does too. But, this reaches to our core and like a slowly erupting volcano emotions could spew forth. This could be a good time for catharsis and a productive session with your therapist.This moon is going over ground that Pluto has already traversed; from a collective standpoint we are seeing big new shifts in our systems of power…government, banks, maybe even sources of power: oil, solar, wind, etc.

Moon sextile Mars and Neptune. Opportunities abound for taking action to pursue your dreams. Venus trines Jupiter. Awesome time for expanded opportunities for love and money. Remember though, with Venus in Aquarius, you want to do it differently than before. Mars conjunct the South Nodes of the Moon, and Neptune in Pisces, opposition North Nodes of the Moon. Connecting with the past and perhaps losing some focus with the North Node of your future and instead defaulting to the past…and things that should be in the past…but, are still in the present. This may lead to a little bit of malaise or just tiredness. Get your rest and sleep. As this is just before the New Year’s celebration…alcohol and drugs could be used to numb the mind and help it cope with not making decisions in the present…that would be good for future outcomes.

Mercury conjuncts both the Moon and Sun in Capricorn and widely (10 degree orb) conjuncts Pluto. This is why I said that communication (Mercury) will be highlighted at this moon. And, Mercury is retrograde, in Capricorn. Care with the details and how you communicate. Take a second look at that email before sending? Just a thought

Venus square Black Moon Lilith. Jupiter sextile Saturn and continues to oppose Uranus (and Eris), Expanding opportunities to shape our world in new ways…individually and collectively. What rules and walls do you want to live within? There’s gonna be backlash with the establishment…whether that is in our collective world or individual world.

Uranus quincunx (please make an adjustment!) Chiron; we are crying out for healing and this is the opportunity to step into what would assist with that process. Connecting with source, the Universe, our higher selves is of utmost important in this process. Saturn trine Uranus (and Eris), square Chiron. Uranus square Pluto. I see this as clashes and how can one turn away from the horrible situation in Syria? The individual wants to be heard! Uranus trine Juno, conjunct Ceres. Mother earth demanding change and new ways being presented to heal Gaia. This time we have to listen.

Our last new moon of the year!

General Take on 2017

The general theme of shake ups will continue both collectively and personally. The difference will be what we ‘do’ with what comes to light in our power structures, relationships, health and truth. There will be amazing opportunities to change where we’ve ‘been’ to where we ‘need to be.’ Taking the step(s) necessary can involve some risk. This is the year to consider taking the risk. I’ll write more in the coming weeks and months.

This represents the individual being happy in themselves with others of like kind. Singing our own individual song in a collective setting. Seeing the positive side of where we are in life. Happily celebrating our individuality within the constraints of our individual lives ¹ p. 234. This reflects how positive feelings make your environment radiate with sunshine (and love).
