5:53 pm Pacific Time

This eclipse is exactly opposite the Virgo Full Moon Eclipse in September 2016. Cast your mind back to September-ish 2016 you may have made the decision to let something go that was no longer serving you… now you have a New Moon Eclipse opposite that is offering a way out and new beginning. This is also the last eclipse in the Pisces/Virgo series of eclipses. So, although a New Moon, there is also closure. Pisces has no boundaries and it represents the highest level of love to the lowest depths of depravity. Trust will be one of the operative words around this eclipse. Pisces operates with no time schedule and no boundaries but…it is where magic & miracles happen.

This is a time about believing in source, god, the universe. Tune in to your intuitive self…it will be particularly active at this eclipse (and beyond). Signs and signals may have already been happening from the eclipse in Leo at the beginning of February 2017. Make no mistake, we are all being asked to tread the higher path, whatever that may mean for each of us spiritually. Mercury just enters Pisces too at the New Moon Eclipse…ah, an important message is being delivered by Hermes! Pay attention: Have a listen to your intuition it could be speaking very loudly now. Something as simple as you happen to turn on a program and hear just what you need to hear. Dreams seem particularly real. You get the idea. Your job: Be open to receiving.

The South Nodes of the Moon still in Pisces play a prominent role at this time. Let go of the past, let go of past conditioning, let go…one more time: let go.  A lot easier said than done especially in codependent relationships or situations. Being uncomfortable can translate in being cozy with a bad situation because you’ve done it for so long. With the Uranus/Jupiter opposition…no more Mr. Nice Guy! The key is to take the first step towards living in a higher consciousness instead of being plugged into the news, magazines, what other people are saying or doing.

With so many personal planets in Aries…you need to stand on your own two feet and take your own action that is good for you, to be you. Remember that person that used to be you? Coax him or her out to play a bit! This may be a process for many but, events will conspire to make things happen in your life that need to happen. Especially, with Mars forming a conjunction to Uranus just prior to the Eclipse; let’s upset that apple cart! Mars squared Pluto on 22 February…yikes. Jacked up energy (Mars in Aries) has to deal with controlling persons or organizations (Pluto). Tempers may flare! Perhaps for good reason too.

This will definitely play out on the global stage (we see it already) and personally. You will want to take action for sure during this time. Its like you’ve waited for months, maybe years to finally say: This is what “I” want. Pisces says just reflect a little before taking that action. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take the action. But, the action will become your path…just bear that in mind. Although this is a New Moon I see this also as closing doors…you may literally close the door to your past and move on to embrace your truth (Jupiter) and leave an unworkable situation behind. Many people watching you may not believe their eyes…

When all the emotions get pent up go for a walk in the forest, by the ocean or just gaze at pictures of nature if that is what you have access to. This is really important in terms of an activity at this time.

With many planets still in the Pisces water forest, many can feel a little lost or even set a drift and not know where to go or what to do. Courage is my word for you, and trust…and believe. With Neptune in the mix though you could take the easy route out through pretending a bad situation isn’t bad, taking drugs to numb you or just plain ignoring the elephant in the room. Hmm, I think Mars in Aries may force you to attention; just saying. The illusion is over, the contemplating is over, the hemming and the hawing are over. If you are set adrift, enjoy the journey; it could truly put you exactly where you need to be, physically and metaphorically. Make no mistake this is a very powerful time; portals are opened and change happens.

Venus retrograde is upon us too also in the pioneering aggressive sign, Aries- a fire sign and first sign of the zodiac. You know what they say about playing with fire. Venus in retrograde goes back to the latter degrees of Pisces following the bread crumbs she left behind to be anointed so when she turns forward again towards Aries she’s a goddess all ready to claim freedom in the name of Love. Mars is in Aries too and wide conjunction with Venus. When Venus stations to go direct it will conjunct Chiron and square Saturn at this time. lt may be a time of someone walking away from a non functioning love and/or work relationship, whether it is new or old. This is a big time for the individual to really see that this is a ‘now or nothing’ with regard to living their life; love and money will be intertwined. Saturn in Sagittarius trines those Aries planets providing structure with the ensuing changes we will ‘all’ be going through.

The Moon moves into Aries joining the Venus retrograde not long after the Pisces Eclipse. Let’s do it!

Sabian Symbol for 9 degrees Pisces1 p 273-274

“A Jockey spurs his horse, intent on outdistancing his rivals”

Here we see the ego using their talents intent to win in horse racing! Competition is not necessarily a bad thing. The point here is to do your best with your talent and your horse and let the best man win. Getting caught up in ‘winning’ may not be the best at this time. However, pitting yourself against yourself may be a whole different thing. Challenge yourself to do that littler bit better, putting yourself where you ‘know’ you need to be.
