This New Moon in Sagittarius hovers at the Galactic Center, which has a giant black hole that is the center of our Universe (in the Milky Way). It is a surge of massive energy of radioactive waves. So, it’s basically amplifying the energy associated with this new moon. Themes around meaning and higher spiritual understanding, optimism (extreme end is getting carried away or too attached to beliefs) and looking at the big picture. From a mundane standpoint; meaningful gifts. A wonderful time to set ‘real’ intentions that mean something to you individually especially as it relates to 2018. This is a time of Truth. Aim that arrow high (don’t be shy).

The new moon is trine (positive aspect) Uranus in Aries and the new moon occurs the day before Saturn leaves Sagittarius, so he’s widely conjunct this optimistic new moon, on his last day in Sagittarius and at the last degree of a sign; a point of crisis energy. This is about releasing us from people, things, situations that have held us back from expressing who we are; our authentic selves on an authentic path. Then Saturn is heading to its home in Capricorn on 21 Dec…right at the Winter Solstice – a time of change.

Five planets or luminaries are all in optimistic Sagittarius – Sun, Moon, Mercury (retrograde still!), Venus and Saturn! Mercury retrograde trines the north node of the Moon of destiny (for the collective) in Leo at 15 degrees. More information that harks back to the total eclipse in Leo in August 2017. All about being authentic in your life. Venus, trines Uranus along with the New Moon (and Sun, remember Moon and Sun are in the same place at a New Moon). Wow! Unexpected surprises in love and money that help get us on the path to where our ‘vision’ is aimed (Sagittarius and his arrow aimed high).

On 26 December, Venus conjuncts Saturn at zero (0) degrees of Capricorn…this degree point is a critical degree and portends new (lets put a ring on it, or at least a serious, mature tone) relationships that are ‘real’ along with real money opportunities. At the very least, an opportunity to get serious about things you value and, real about the money you have!

Mercury goes stationary direct (finally) on 23 December, just before Christmas at 13 degrees Sagittarius. Messages are received, the penny drops on confusing messages or communications, truth comes out (Sagittarius) in all forms of communications (the #metoo continues).

With Saturn in Capricorn (its home sign) until 23 March 2020 we will all be under the taskmaster’s guidance of working hard at our goals, reaping our Karma (good or bad; so, for goodness sake try to be “good”). We’ll be in an ambitious mood, taking on more responsibilities and starting to set down firm and real foundations in all areas of our lives especially as it relates to our security, business, money and power.
