This eclipse in Leo is a foreshadowing of the North Nodes of the Moon (pointing to the future destiny) also going into Leo in May 2017. The North Nodes of the Moon will conjunct this Eclipse point 17/18 October 2017 – its a little bit more than 6 months, just enough time to start some new, fun, creative adventure! Leo can also be ‘everything has to revolve around me’, just like the planets revolve around the Sun (Leo’s ruler). That’s when Aquarius in the opposite sign asks that we think outside the box and consider everyone. A truly great ruler (or King or Queen) considers this. The collective will be challenged to be more creative, to be Lion-hearted, to maybe, even, have some fun…stop working so hard. More and more research points to the negative effects of working too much (North Nodes in Virgo).

The next couple of years we will have eclipses in Leo and the opposite sign, Aquarius (hark back to everyone taking about the Age of Aquarius…guess what: it’s arriving!).

A Grand Fire Trine occurs at this eclipse and bodes well for those that have worked hard and deserve their prize! Saturn trines this eclipse point from fire sign Sagittarius and Uranus trines this eclipse point from fire sign Aries. The sky is lit up! Positive, high energy flowing round and round.

Leo rules the heart in the body, and the Sun in the universe, rules Leo. We have ‘heart’ day coming up on the 14th, just after this eclipse in Leo! Lots of new romance! But wait…there’s more! New small businesses may emerge too.The two eclipses (the first in Leo and the second final one in Pisces towards end of February) work in tandem to open and close doors this month. Or doors unexpectedly close (literal or figuratively) and then at the end of the month at the Pisces Eclipse a new path, door opens. Please walk through…it is your destiny calling (Hello??!).

For the Leo eclipse it is all about loving yourself and honoring yourself…doing what you love, being with who you love…ask: is this loving to me? Those issues brought up and conclusions you come to (even if action is not yet ready)…will set you up for the New Moon Pisces eclipse where you’ll be set on your new path. Or, maybe launch that ship (metaphorical or real) that sets you in motion on the path that you love and that loves you right back! This is a high octane month, get your sleep, eat well and keep yourself in good running order – whatever that means for you.

I’ll talk about the New Moon Eclipse in Pisces in a few weeks but, suffice to say it is a ‘new’ moon and the final eclipse in Pisces from a series of eclipses over the past couple of years. We’ll all be presented with our own unique way to bring spirituality, source, god into our lives for our benefit. Stay tuned

Sabian Symbol for 23 degrees Leo

This points to a ‘performer’ Leo style; using their considerable training to ‘wow’ (or inspire) an audience (the collective) with their abilities.

This two part feat seems to relate to the Sagittarius symbol of half man, half horse. Saturn, is now in Sagittarius…reflecting discipline in the higher mind and connecting with source.

Under the auspices of this Leo eclipse – by all means show off your skills and individuality…but, do so from a disciplined, controlled stance with a view to influencing many. Saturn in Sagittarius forms a harmonious trine providing a background from which to express your individuality.
This points to ‘action’ ; as opposed to ‘voice’ or, just talking about it (and no action).

Summary:
Actions speak louder than words – make yours count.
