Mars retrograde at 2 Sagittarius 18 hovers close by to this Full Moon and forms a conjunction with it. Mercury retrograde and Jupiter now direct form a lovely earth trine, if we extend the orb we can include Pluto retrograde (at 17 degrees Capricorn) and have a Grand Earth Trine.
The Sabian Symbol for this Sagittarius Full Moon is (which is read as 2 degrees Sagittarius in Dane Rudhyar’s book1):
“White capped waves display the power of wind over sea”. Rudhyar discusses the symbolism of both wind and sea and refers to wind as “spirit”.
A truncated version of Eckart Tolle’s video on The Ripple and the Ocean2 can be found online (full version available to members online). Eckart discusses how the ripples (or waves, in the Sabian Symbols) represent our perception of ourselves…much like all the waves/ripples are individuals on the vast ocean. “If we can perceive ourselves as the ocean not just a ripple we can lead a more fulfilled life”. Why is that? Because by doing this we are “sensing and connecting with something deeper” (by analogy, the ocean), albeit, intangible and empty but, connected to source (insert your interpretation here). Kaypacha referred to Eckart Tolle in his recent Pele report on 5/11/2016; living in the present (not caught up in the voice of the mind), or the now. Eckert reminds us that the being behind the doing (the passion/interest) is where the enjoyment comes from2.
I envision the effect this Full Moon in Sagittarius is trying to exert is one of the spirit (source, presence etc.) loudly whispering (the wind) over our ocean of ripples (the collective) a message about our spirituality (consciousness). With Mercury/Jupiter and Pluto all in a powerful, positive, Grand Earth Trine: The Force is with You!
Let’s consider harnessing the energetic wind (spirit, source, presence, etc.) to steer our boats (ourselves) in the right direction; toward our destiny.
